homemade popsiclesOK  people. You’re hot. Your kids are hot. It’s time to kick it with some homemade popsicles.

You can get as crazy as you want- putting savory ingredients and mixing it up a little- the sky’s the limit!

If you don’t want your kids hopped up on sugar, substitute stevia (just make sure it contains real stevia extract.) Here’s a little recipe to get you going. Take out what you don’t want and put in what you do! Easy. This recipe makes six homemade popsicles using the  Tovolo Groovy Ice Pop Molds which are BPA free.

  • 3 lemons
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • super smidge of sea salt
  • stevia or sugar to taste
  • super smidge of turmeric
  • fresh peppermint
  • whole blackberries

Juice the lemons, mix em with water, salt, stevia, turmeric. Dice the peppermint and stir in. Pour into popsicle molds and add whole blackberries at the end before they are all the way full. Freeze for about 6 hours. Yahoo!
